Who we are?

We are Choice Home Tutoring Manchester West, a proud branch of the CHT family. While the core CHT business was established in 2010, we’ve been dedicated to supporting the West Manchester community since 2020. We share the core values of the wider organisation—offering personalised, tailored tuition for learners of all ages and abilities. Amongst other achievements we have been selected by the Good School’s Guide for seven consecutive years and have recently been nominated for the ‘Franchise of the year’ award in the upcoming
Tutor’s Association awards. 
 
Our goal is to give students the confidence to reach their full potential by offering a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where they can step outside their comfort zones and develop skills that benefit them both academically and in life. Our experienced and qualified teachers have supported countless pupils across West Manchester, tailoring their approach to suit each student’s unique needs and learning style. We rely heavily on customer feedback to ensure we consistently provide the highest-quality tutors for our growing community of learners.

What we offer

Choice Home Tutoring offer a range of tuition services bespoke to your needs and budget. Each learner will benefit from a unique service and so we take the time to get to know the families and tutors so that we can advise as best as we can. Whether you’re looking for support with exam preparation, the 11+, core skills or just a general confidence boost – we’re here to help

1-2-1 tuition

When the match is right, a 1-2-1 tutor can have serious impact on the student’s grades, confidence and development. This is why we take care in finding the right person for the job.

1-2-1 sessions are particularly beneficial for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and we are able to provide SEN specialised tutors. Lessons can be taken in-person at the students home or online. A typical price range is between £35-40 inc. VAT.

Group tuition

Group tuition is an alternative way to provide quality contact time with experienced educators. Compared to 1-2-1 tuition, group tuition will still fulfil the learner’s needs but in a more social and co-operative environment where confidence and connections can be built. Not only can these sessions supplement the learner’s current at-home tuition, but it is also a suitable option for families who do not have the budget for a 1-2-1 tutor.

Group sessions typically cost between £15-25/session inc. of VAT.

Meet James

James is the director of Choice Home Tutoring Manchester west. He is a Neuroscience and Japanese language graduate who has shared his enthusiasm for learning to students in Manchester since 2021

Alongside supporting students through their exams he also teaches yoga and performs live as a musician. He uses his skills to offer a holistic approach in helping the next generation navigate their futures. His tutors also carry the same approach making sure that every child is encouraged to be their authentic selves and excel in their own way.
