Five family friendly cafes to try this Autumn

With the continuing uncertainty, there’s never been a more important time to support local businesses that are right on our doorstep. Here are five family friendly cafes that you could take your children to this Autumn.

Our Kid

Our Kid is a little café based in Chorlton that also sells children’s toys and school uniform. Set up by three mums, they know exactly what’s needed to make sure a café is truly family friendly. It’s a relaxed environment for children of all ages to enjoy with their family; although be warned – children may well be tempted by some of the toys in their shop! Pop by if you’re in Chorlton and give them a try.

Cheeky Cherubs

Cheeky Cherubs is a play and learning centre in Urmston, where you can also find Emporium pop up shops on certain days. They have a lovely little play area and it’s such a fun environment for the family to enjoy. They even have party packages so you can take children along for special occasions. It’s a wonderful part of the Urmston community so don’t miss out!

Bean and Brush

Bean and Brush is a family arts café in Sale. They have all kinds of clubs and after school events on, but they’re perhaps best known for the clay imprints you can make there. If arts and crafts are your thing then make sure you pop in and give their activities a try. Take a breather from the rush of heading back to school and get crafty as a family in Sale.

Poppies 11

Poppies 11 is a popular Urmston spot for its delicious treats and creative activities. Drop by for an afternoon snack and the chance to take your child’s creation home with you. Or, they do take-out as well if you live in Urmston and are in a rush. So many small businesses need our support at the moment, so make sure you visit Poppies.

HOME café

HOME is an amazing arts venue and theatre in Manchester – they also have a lovely family café and restaurant for all to enjoy. There’s always so much going on for young people, so it’s well worth checking out. It’s right next to Trafford Bar tram stop so is really accessible. Take a look at their theatre and arts events for children of all ages!
