Hi, welcome to our page! My name is Nam and I am the Director of Choice Home Tutoring Warrington. I am a dedicated educator with a passion for helping students achieve their goals. I started tutoring at the age of 17, which sparked my love for teaching and eventually led me to become Head of Mathematics at a college in Cheshire.
With expertise in mathematics mastery, I have worked alongside teams of teachers on world-class research programmes focused on curriculum development and effective teaching practices. I pride myself on building strong relationships with students, helping them feel confident and supported as they tackle challenging concepts. My approach focuses on identifying misconceptions, breaking down barriers to understanding, and easing the pressures students often feel in their studies.

Working with the team at Choice Home Tutoring has shown me how a tutoring business can be run with integrity and a commitment to supporting students, tutors, and families alike. This experience inspired me to join their mission by launching a franchise in the Warrington area. Our goal is to provide high-quality, value-driven tuition in all curriculum areas and Key Stages, to help local students thrive in their education. We offer quality and affordable tuition in-person, online or in groups. We also have a great reputation in providing in-school tuition to support a range of intervention programmes.

We provide top quality tutors to spend as much time as you’d like supporting your young learner in any subject. Whether that be early years support in reading and writing, or guiding students through their GCSE and A-level examinations – we will can supply the appropriately qualified tutor for you. When the match is right, a 1-2-1 tutor can have serious impact on the student’s grades, confidence and development. This is why we take care in finding the right person for the job.
1-2-1 sessions are particularly beneficial for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and we are able to provide SEN specialised tutors. Lessons can be taken in-person at the students home or online.
Group tuition is an alternative way to provide quality contact time with experienced educators. Compared to 1-2-1 tuition, group tuition will still fulfil the learner’s needs but in a more social and co-operative environment where confidence and connections can be built. Not only can these sessions supplement the learner’s current at-home tuition, but it is also a suitable option for families who do not have the budget for a 1-2-1 tutor. Groups are kept no larger than 8 which studies suggests is the most effective for a group learning environment.
